Oh la belle vidéo !
Tiré du Youtube japonais, une vidéo d’un EEE 701 de série apparemment qui a l’air ma foi de tres bien tourner.
Au menu : Manipulation de l’engin, manipulation et extraction de la batterie, navigation en ligne, boot a froid, install d’un Live CD Linux et boot a froid d’une install XP… Vous allez être surpris !

Windows boot bien vite, mais windows boot toujours rapidement quand il vient d’être installé :p

Je crois que c’est un modele de série… Il n’y a aucune etiquette de sample en dessous.

Ah, je n’avais pas fait attention à ça. Je me référais au message à la fin qui parle d’ “ingineering sample”.

Et sur la page dont le lien est plus bas, il y a l’article qui contient la vidéo, qq photos et mention d’une “première partie”, donc prochainement une seconde (axée sur l’OS par défaut du eee, selon la fin du texte)…

HA! Just to let you know that I am not the only employee at AllAsus, though I am the one spearheading the Eee project…and I’m territorial about it. I have questions in to Asus (as always), this time regarding the much vaunted rumors of the Inquirer forecast and pricing. Further, I’m trying to get answers regarding warranty issues with the Eee series. For anyone with concerns with security on our site (and I know they are valid), you may order on our secure parent site, http://www.xxxxxxx.com. You can also link to that site from http://www.xxxxxxxx.com. I will post answers to more questions when Asus calls me later today. One more thing: If you preorder with us, 1) We’re not in a hurry to charge you the $150 NR deposit (most people haven’t even been charged yet. 2) If Asus cancels this thing or raises the price, you’ll get a full refund if you choose not to accept the higher price. 3) Asus, as of Friday, 10/21 claims to sill be on track with a release by October 1 - though we don’t know if they mean release from Taiwan or release to distributors at that time. I’ll keep you posted and call/email you if you’ve placed an order with us.
