Dell prépare t-il un XPS ADAMO 9

Dell serait-il en train de préparer un XPS ADAMO 9″ ? Un netbook sur le design de l’ADAMO, une machine ultrafine que la marque a présenté à la presse lors du CES en début d’année ? C’est ce que peut nous faire croire cette capture d’écran envoyé par Alex qui a croisé une étrange appellation Adamo 9 dans un pilote pour son Dell Latitude E4300.

Dell XPS Adamo 9 ?

Cette capture d’écran montre clairement les deux appellations en parallèle : l’Adamo 13, pour la machine 13″ ultrafine de Dell, mais aussi un énigmatique Adamo 9 qui pourrait laisser penser à une diagonale 9 ou 8.9″ pour un netbook reprenant les formes de son grand frère. Alex a eu cette information en mettant à jour son modem HSPAqui offre également la fonction GPS. Si une telle machine existe un jour, ultrafine, design, 3G et GPS avec une diagonale 9″, elle risque de faire pas mal de bruit… Merci Alex !

    oui sauf qu’au prix de l’adamo on serait plus dans les prix d’un UMPC… sauf si Dell se lance dans l’ARM… après tout s’ils se sont bien plantés avec le mini 12, le mini 9 a apporté son lot d’innovation : la clavier sans touches F (on s’y fait très bien) et le fanless.

    Bonjour, je viens de découvrir ce blog et je tenais à dire que je l’apprécie énormément.

    Je trouve ça quand même surprenant que Dell sorte un 9″ luxueux (à supposer qu’il s’agisse d’un 9″) alors que beaucoup de fabricants s’orientent vers du 10″. Et pour moi, 9″ c’est trop petit pour que je puisse taper correctement sur le clavier.

    @johnkaffee : depuis l’année dernière je crois, XPS est devenu la gamme de « luxe », Dell ayant préféré orienter les gamers vers Alienware.

    I’m very excited about the premise of the Adamo 9 offering internal HSPA data and GPS lock as an optional update.

    Perhaps it will be confirmed at CES?
