Fini les Galaxy Tab ? Pas du tout , la gamme de tablettes 7″ et inférieures vont toujours exister mais seront reliées par leurs fonctionnalités, leur Android et leur nom à la téléphonie. Une tablette 10″ va bel et bien exister chez Samsung mais porterait le nom de Gloria ! Une nouvelle gamme donc mais qui ne tournerait plus sous un système Google mais bien sous Microsoft Windows 7.
Samsung Gloria : Vue d’Artiste. 
Mais cette tablette 10″ ne serait pas non seulement sous Windows 7, elle aurait également un clavier coulissant, à l’image des téléphones de la marque. Ce clavier permettrait de mieux la manipuler, l’écran tactile n’étant pas optimal pour des machines sous Windows 7. L’engin disposera en plus d’une surcouche logicielle made-in-Samsung. La marque n’est pas novice en la matière, elle a lancé de nombreux périphériques de ce type par le passé. Mais jamais en 10″ et jamais avec les fonctionnalités actuelles apportées par les puces existantes. Mes sources parlent d’une disponibilité entre Mars et Avril 2011.

Tout à fait d’accord avec Zeorymer, pour faire autre chose que regarder des films, écouter de la musique, surfer sur le net et s’amuser avec des petits jeux, travailler quoi, Windows est incomparable.
S’il arrivent à réduire le poids , augmenter l’autonomie et faire tourner un VRAI OS de PC , je suis partant pour débloquer un budget conséquent.
Android marche très bien pour ce qu’il sait faire (j’ai un Archos 70 dont je suis content) , mais pas d’Office, c’est la galère pour configurer un clavier externe en plusieurs langues, les sites internet ne sont pas reconnus exactement comme sur un PC (essayer de faire tourner Musicme ou Deezer à titre d’exemple sous Android , c’est bridé), pas d’Ad-hoc en wifi , enfin plein de petit détails qui font la différence. Et je ne parlerai pas des bridages de l’Ipad….
Alors oui Android et l’Ipad démarrent plus vite mais est-ce vraiment important?, une tablet n’est pas un téléphone portable.
